No horsing around Special to the Press This past weekend the Cortland State Red Riders Equestrian team competed in two shows; on Saturday, hosted by St. Lawrence University and on Sunday hosted by both Potsdam and Canton Colleges. On Saturday, Shavona Smith won third place in both open jumping and open equitation and on Sunday she won third place in open jumping. Dino Diorio won fourth place on Saturday and fifth place on Sunday in ad- vanced walk, trot, canter. On Sunday, Carol Zelman won sixth place in novice equita- tion. Becky Ott took fourth place on Saturday and sixth place on Sunday in novice jumping. Kim Wilson won fourth place in novice equita- tion on Sunday. Elizabeth Maersh won fifth place on Saturday in advanced walk, trot, canter.
