To Stage 'Pippin' The Town of Manlius Recrea­ tion Dept celebrates its 10th anniversary of summer shows with the production of \Pippin\ at 8 p m . August 8. 9 and 10 in the Wellwood Middle School au­ ditorium in Fayetteviile \Pippin\ is the story of a boy. the father of Charlemagne, who tries to find out what life means. The play, by Stephen Schwartz, was a smashing success on Broadway in the earlv 70s be­ cause of its slap happy comedy, its music and drama Rehearsals are well under way with Jeane Keefe as direc­ tor. Nancy Sue Epoch, musical director and Eric Goodman, pro­ ducing Members of the cast include Richard Phipps as Pippin. Tickets can be purchased at the door Far more information call 637-5188 Comical Photos Sought Entries are now being ac­ cepted for the Most Comical photo contest, which is spon­ sored by the Manlius Senior Centre. Any senior citizen living in or in the vicinity of Manlius village is eligible to enter the contest Ail (hey need do is enter a pic­ ture, whether they .be baby photographs or more recent ones of themselves. Photos should be marked on the back with the name and ad­ dress of entrants. Pictures will be displayed in the center's Lamoreaux Room for people to cast votes as to which one they find to be the most comical.
