Mrs. Steve Meixell Living In Minneapolis Lynn A. Penrose and Steve Meixell were married on Sep­ tember 28 at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle In Min­ neapolis, Minn Tiie bride is the daugther of Ray and Shirley Penrose of Man­ itowoc. Wise She is a buyer at Control Data Corp.. and graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin. The bridegroom is the son of John and Rachael Meixell of Manhua. He is a senior writer and television producer at Carmichael-Lynch, Inc. of Min­ neapolis, and an alumnus of Northwestern University Both the bride and the brideg­ room graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School m 1972. An evening reception was heJd at the Charles Pillsbury Mansion, with music provided by the St. Paul Chamber Or­ chestra. The couple currently reside in Minneapolis. Announce Collection Duo To Perforin A performance by Partners in Song — Donna Miller, soprano, and Jean Loflus. contralto — will highlight the Syracuse Symphony Guild's Intermezzo luncheon December 10 at the Hotel Syracuse Miss Miller and Miss Loflus will present a program to in­ clude show tunes, a holiday med­ ley and other favorites accom­ panied on the piano by Sox Tif- fault Both singers appear fre­ quently before Syracuse audi­ ences and have performed with the Syracuse Opera Co and the Tn-Cities Opera of Bingham Ion Mr Tiffault is a well-known local band leader and directs the Swing Sixteen group of Fayetteville-Manlius High School The theme for the luncheon will be \A Season to Celebrate\ focusing on both the SSO's 25th anniversary season and the holidays Centerpieces of red, poinsettias, silver accents, and sparkling lights will decorate the ballroom setting. Also planned for members and guests is the guilds traditional holiday -boutique featuring home-baked breads, pastries and confections. A variety of hand-craftefll items and gifts with a musical motif will also be available. In charge of arrangements is Intermezzo chairman Elaine Thomas of Manlius. assisted by Anne deLearie and Rosemary VVinkert. also of Manlius; Sally Whittle and Lee Amond of Cazenovia; Lina Woodall and Elaine Charles of DeWitt; Helene MiglTerina of Camillus. and Helen Forbes and Sue Palombi.
