The fair continues through Labor Day, September 1. Blanche Marsella, 100 Clarke Rd, Fayetteville, who is a native of Scotland, won three awards. Two honorable mention awards were in the handspun yarn divi sion — Class 70, proficiency of spin, and Class 71, yarn for clo thing. The third award was fourth place in the senior division — Class 2, knitting adult garment, for a handspun, hand-knitted mohair woman's vest. Now's your chance to take the plunge toward a better, more enjoyable community. Help make a splash with an affirmative vote on September 10. The cost is far less than an expensive pool membership, or a pool in your own backyard. Homeowner's taxes will increase only .36 per year per $1,000 assessed value of your home. THAT'S LESS THAN: • A candy bar • A can of soda • A gallon of gas • A pack of cigarettes • An ice cream cone And the assessments will never be raised! In addition, the pool will offer the entire F-M community wholesome, healthy exercise and fun. Pool Your Support! Vote YES on September 10, Fayetteville Elementary School 7:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. 1.
