Proceeds will be donated to the Kidney Foundation. The Rev. Patrick O'Leary and the Rev. Jack Kissel heard the wedding vows of April A. Foote and Thomas E. Piston Jr. re­ cently in St. Matthew's Church, l$ast Syracuse. The bride is the daughter of M. Lucille Foote of Minoa and Elmer Foote of Syra­ cuse. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pis­ ton of Baldwinsville are parents of the bridegroom. Tammy Zsedely was maid of honor. The bride received her bachelor's degree from SlTs Col­ lege of Nursing. She works for Crouse Irving Memorial Hospi­ tal. The bridegroom received his bachelor's degree from SU's School of Management. He works for Marquardt Switches Inc. The ESM High School concert and stage bands and chorus will present a holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. December 18 in the high school auditorium. Local resi­ dents are invited to attend the event free of charge. The ESM Board of Education meets at 8 p.m. December 22 at the district office. Earl Thompson of Wil- liamsville and Mrs. Freida Gates of North Syracuse have announced the engagement of their daughter, Rosemarie Gates, to Roy Cramer, son of Mrs. Shirley Cook of Kirkville. The birth of a daughter has been announced by Mr. and Mrs. Christopher J. Daley of Kirkville. Mrs. Daley is the former Paula M. Armstrong. Karen D. Wright and Jeffrey C. Bartell were married recently in DeWitt Community Church before the Rev. Dr. Carmichel. The bride is the daughter of Christine and Bill Cummins of Kirkville and David Wright of East Syracuse. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Bartell Sr. of Syracuse. Following a reception, the couple traveled to New England. The bride is an ESM High School and SUNY-Plattsburgh graduate. She works for The Eraser Co. in customer service and sales. The bridegroom is a Henninger High School graduate and served in the Navy. He is head printer at Spaulding Law Printing. Christmas Sunday services are scheduled at the First Un­ ited Methodist Church De­ cember 21. Canned and dry goods for the food cupboard will be collected. Food donations for the needy will also be collected December 21 at St. Mary's Church. Please don't forget the poor during this wonderful season of love and gift giving. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dehm of East Syracuse have announced the engagement of their daugh­ ter, Merynda Susan Dehm, to Daniel Lynn Yates, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Yates Sr. of Kirkville. Former Minoa resident Chris­ tina New is in the UCLA Medi­ cal Center and would appreciate cards from her old friends.
