The efficacy of an antidote is hardly ever questioned by the person who finds that he has been bitten by a venomous reptile; but he at once applies the remedy, andlopks for its ope ration. Such is the case with those who are perishing under the effects of the most deadly of all poisons,—liquid fire. Brandow, Esq. one of the justices of the peace of the said county, and to me directed against the goods and chattels, lands and tenements of William'Bliss, I have seized and taken all those several pieces and parcels of land situate in the town of Coxsackie in the county of Greene, known and described as follows, to wit: a piece of land containing about one acre on which is situated the dwelling of said Wm. Bliss, beginning on the confirma tion line at the corner of Benjamin N. Bur roughs’ land, and running westerly along said line to the north east corner of William Stuart’s land, thence southerly to the public highway, thenefe easterly along said highway to the high way leading north from the stone house, thence along said last mentioned highway to the place of beginning, Also, two other pieces of land on the south side of the said road first mentioned, one containing five acres, the other containing five acres and eight tenths, both of which ad join the land of said William Stuart, except ing out of the above meutmned property a piece of land sold by the said William Bliss to Peter Lown.
