New York, by a r e ­ solution duly adopted on the 13th day of November, 1972, authorized the Town S u p e r­ intendent to purchase a 1973 Ford Model L-8000 D iesel Marmon-Herrtngton all wheel drive snow plow dump truck at a total c o s t of $ 33,- 424.30 subject to the approval of the County Superintendent of Highways, and provided that $26,000.00 of such cosf was to be paid from the pro­ ceeds of obligations tssued pursuant to the Local F 1- nance Law, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. That the specific ob­ ject or purpose for which ob­ ligations a r e to be issued pursuant to this resolution Is to finance the cost of a 1973 FordModelL-BOOODie- sel Marmon-Herrtngton all wheel drive snow plow dump truck. 2. The maximum cost of such machinery ts $33,424.- 30, and the plan of financing such cost is as foHows; $7,424.30 Is to be pro­ vided by machinery traded- In pursuant to Section 142 of the Highway Law of tbe value of $7,424.30. The bal­ ance of the cost is to be provided by the issuance Of a statutory installm ent bond tn the amount of $26,000.00 pursuant to this resolution. 3. Thefollowingdetermto- atious are hereby made: (a) T ie period of pro­ bable usefulness o f sue it ma­ chinery is ten years. (b) The subdivision of paragraph a of Section 11 of the Local Finance Law which Is applicable ln the c ircum ­ stances Is subdivision “ 28.” (c) The proposed m a­ turity of the obligation au­ thorized by thts resolution will not be In excess often years. 4. The Tower of Montague shall issue its statutory in­ stallment bond in the amount of $26,000.00 to finance such cost tn accordance with the financial plan set forth above. The bond shall he In the amount of $26,000.00 and shall mature on the 8 th d ay of November, 19*83, and shall be paid in equal annual in­ stallments of Two Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($2.- 600.00) on the 8th day of November, tn the years 1974 to 1983, tncjusive. The power to determine the date upon which the installm ents of prtnctpal andof lnterestshall become 'due and payable is hereby delegated to the Su­ pervisor. The bond shall b e Issue ! The bond should be in sub­ stantially the following form: STATUTORY INSTALLMENT BOND UNITED STATES OF AMERICA STATE OF NEW YORK COUNTY OF LEWIS TOWN OF MONTAG0E TOWN HIGHWAY MACHIN­ ERY BOND - 1973 $26,000.00 The Town of Montague, tn the County of Lewis, a muni­ cipality of the State of New York, hereby acknowledges Itself Indebted and for value received promises to pay to the bearer of this bond the principal sum of Twenty- six Thousand .Dollars C$26,- 000.00) ln ten (10) equal an­ nual Installments of Two Thousand Six Hundred Dol­ lars ($2,600.00) each, on the 8th day of November, tn the years 1974 to 1983 Inclu­ sive and to pay Interest on the unpaid balance of such principal sum at the rate of five per cent (5%) per annum, annually on the 8th day of November, 1974, and on the 8th day of Novem­ ber in each year thereafter until this bond matures. In­ terest will not be paid on any installment of principal, or of interest, after the due date thereof. Both the In­ stallments of principal of and the interest on this bond will be paid to the bearer of thts bond ln lawful money of the United States only upon pre­ sentation of this bond for notation of any such pay­ ment thereon at the office of the Lewis County Trust Company, LowvlUe, New York, This bond is a statutory Installment bond, the prin­ cipal sum of which cannot exceed One Hundred Thou­ sand DoUars ($100,000.00), and lslssuedpursuanttoSec- tlon 62.10 of the Lccal Fi­ nance Law and pursuant to a bond resolution entitled “ Statutory Installment Bond Resolution” , duly adopted by the Town Board ofsuchTown of Montague on the 8th day of November, 1973. This bond may not be converted into either a coupon bond or a registered bond. The faith and credit of such Town of Montague are hereby irrevocably pledged for the punctual payment of the installments of princi­ pal of and the Interest on this bond according to Its terms.
